I really liked this book. I haven't read fantasy in a long time and this book reminded me of why I love fantasy so much. Plus this book has a map (who doesn't love a map of a fictional world?) and a pronunciation guide (more authors should have these).
The only things I didn't like was that it wasn't "seductive" enough for me (I like things a little more smutty) and the story kind of dragged on in the middle.
I was also strangely reminded of the Monsters in the Dark series by Pepper Winters at times. These series are both so different but I kept finding parallels between the two.
